This was so entertaining.
Honestly felt like one of those dark lifetime drama movies I'd watch sometimes.
So good.
Cali and Conner share a tragic past. Each losing a parent. Losing a piece of themselves.
Conner a bit more, after spending 3 years in prison. However he's still on house arrest and forced to live in the home that his demons haunt him.
Than Cali retuns home.
First things are pretty intense. Cali doesn't understand why Conner has to be there. He's dangerous. He took someone away from her...or so they say.
But she's got a business to run, her dad's business, now hers. The new CEO. But things start getting suspicious within the company. She needs to figure out what's going on...however neither her or Conner are prepared for what's uncovered.
On top of that, they grow unexpectedly close. But they try to fight it... they're step siblings after all. What would everyone think.
But no matter how hard they try, they can't stop each other from crossing that line.
And who they uncover to be behind the tragic murders, honestly crazy. Some true lifetime movie stuff.
So dang good though, kept me turning each page needing to know what happened next.
And the spice...🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
